How do you pronounce LONA? What does it mean?

You can call us L-OH-NA. It’s a nod to our backyard — the Lone Star State — and the wild, resilient women who inspired us. LONA is about strength with softness, and skincare that works wherever life takes you.

What is LONA?

LONA is a skincare brand ushering in a new era of effortless, rooted in the spirit of the West and built for women who live by their own rhythm. Our adaptive, hybrid formulas use stress-defying botanicals and clinically proven actives to deliver resilient glowing skin and simplify your routine so you can get out from behind the mirror and focus on living.

Are your products suitable for all skin types?

Our formulas are designed to work across skin types. If you have a specific concern, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list, emailing us at hey@lonabeauty.com and always reviewing with your doctor for questions pertaining to medical conditions.

What does adaptive skincare mean?

To us, adaptive has a few meanings.

First, it’s about formula. Our products combine actives from the West’s most resilient plants with proven science to support skin as it responds to climate, environment, aging, and daily stress.

Second, it’s about function. Many LONA products are designed to deliver 2-in-1 benefits, so your routine works harder and takes less time.

And finally, it’s about design. From innovative formats to intentional packaging, everything is built to move with you and fit into real life, not slow it down.

Products & Ingredients

Where are your products made?

All LONA products are manufactured in the U.S. using the highest quality ingredients and sources. We bring innovation and sustainable packaging solutions from partners across the globe.

Are LONA products clean?

Yes. At LONA, we set high standards and we keep raising them. With intention, data, and a common sense approach, we formulate without the usual suspects, excluding ingredients commonly flagged for safety or sustainability concerns. Our products meet the Credo Clean Standard™ which prohibits or restricts over 2700 chemicals.

Guided by science and real-world performance, our standards evolve with research — so every choice supports your safety, delivers results, and creates a sensorial experience that fits real life.

Are your products fragrance-free?

Some LONA products include thoughtfully chosen fragrance to create a sensorial experience  without compromising skin safety.

Our fragrances are cruelty-free, vegan, palm oil–free, and made without phthalates, parabens, PFAS, or other common irritants. Usage varies by product, so we always recommend checking the ingredient list if you’re sensitive.

How is LONA sustainable?

In addition to reducing excess with 2-in-1 formulas that reduce steps, we choose recyclable formats, post-consumer recycled materials, glass, and aluminum wherever possible, paired with FSC-certified paper cartons. It’s about making thoughtful packaging choices that protect our formulas—and the world they’re made in.

Additionally, we’re a proud member of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of annual sales to protect the places that shape our perspective and inspire us.

Can I use LONA products if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Our products are made with gentle, skin-supportive ingredients, but everyone’s needs are different. We recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns.

How long will my product last?

Our products have a two year shelf life and once open will last for 12 months per the Period After Opening symbol on your package.

Do you use preservatives?

We wouldn’t have it any other way. We have to use preservatives in order to prevent bacteria from growing, especially in water-based formulas. We do not use Parabens, Methylparaben, or Propylparaben because they are known carcinogens.

Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States only.

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders over $50. Standard shipping is $8.95. Expedited shipping is $19.95.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We manufacture in the U.S. and ship from TX. At this time, we only ship within the U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii). 

  • Our Free Standard Shipping takes an estimated 4-7 business days. Our Standard Shipping deadline for holiday delivery is December 11th. (Alaska/Hawaii orders may take longer.)
  • For time sensitive orders, we offer Expedited Shipping in many locations, which takes an estimated 2-3 business days and is handled by FedEx. Our Expedited Shipping deadline for holiday delivery is December 17th.
  • Our Wholesale Shipping takes an estimated 3-5 business days, and is handled by FedEx.

Please note that orders must be received by 9:00am CST to be processed same-business day. Orders received after 9:00am CST may be processed on the following business day.

Will I receive tracking information?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. It can take up to 24 hours for tracking to become active.

How do I edit my order?

Once an order has been processed, we can no longer make changes. If your shipping address needs changing, please reach out to us at hey@lonabeauty.com for assistance.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

If your LONA purchase isn’t quite right, we’ll gladly refund or exchange any full-size product purchased from lonabeauty.com within 30 days of delivery. Email hey@lonabeauty.com and we’ll take it from there.

What if my product arrives damaged?

Please contact us at hey@lonabeauty.com with your order number and photos, and we’ll make it right.
